Join us for a free seminar that will bring together international perspectives on business, biodiversity and finance across countries. On January 19th, 2021, from10am-11am, we will showcase three new studies that examine the relationship between these areas:

  • The Indebted to Nature report, written by the Dutch Central Bank and the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL)

  • A study on the uptake of biodiversity management of 11,000 corporates worldwide, using UNEP-WCMC’s ENCORE tool.

  • A review of business action on biodiversity in Ireland

Our line up of speakers includes:

  • Jane Stout, Director, Natural Capital Ireland, Professor of Botany, Trinity College Dublin

  • Dr Theodor Cojoianu, Assistant Professor of Finance, Queen's University Belfast & Member, Platform on Sustainable Finance, EU Commission

  • Mark van Oorschot, Senior Researcher on International Biodiversity Policies, Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL)
